Need honest answers. My 3 year old watches about 1.5 hours of TV a day. It's mostly while I cook and when I'm working from home. I feel guilty every time.
What's your rough daily total? Are we judging each other?

No judging here. Probably similar for us. On sick days it's more like 5 hours and the world hasn't ended.
We have a 'no TV before nursery' rule and that's about it. The rest of the day it depends.
I try to keep it to slower shows, they seem calmer afterwards. Fast cartoons make my daughter wild.
In my home country grandparents have the TV on all day. My children are fine. I think 1.5 hours with a parent nearby is ok.
Thank you, I think I needed to hear that it's normal.
The guilt isn't helping you or her. Cook dinner, let her watch Bluey. Done.
As a nanny who's seen a lot of homes: the number matters less than what else is going on. An hour and a half while you cook in a house full of chat is not the same as a whole day alone with a tablet.
