I used to paint, run, read three books a month. Since my daughter was born (she's 2 now) my only hobby has been scrolling while she naps.
I want something that's mine again. What do you do, and how do you find the time?

Parkrun on Saturday mornings. 9am, free, and my partner and I take it in turns, or we push the jogging buggy. It's the one bit of the week that's just for me.
knitting. you can do it in front of the tv after bedtime and you have something to show for it. also it's very calming
I've always wanted to learn to knit. Is it hard?
Not hard at all. Start with a scarf, garter stitch, a chunky wool. Lots of local yarn shops do beginner evenings. Very friendly crowd.
Book club. One evening a month, the pub, a non-optional night out. Got me reading again.
Gardening. Our flat has a tiny balcony and I grow tomatoes and herbs. Five minutes after work out there is enough.
I turned it into a family hobby. We go walking every weekend and the kids just come with us. Doesn't work for everything, but worth thinking about.
