Ok I know it's early. I KNOW. But I did a cheap strip this morning and I think there's something there? You have to tilt it under the bathroom light and squint.

My partner says he can't see anything. I've taken about forty photos of it.

Is 9dpo too early to trust anything? Should I wait? I'm due on Monday and I don't think I can survive till then.

A line is a line, as they say. But 9dpo is very early, lots of people don't get anything until 12-14dpo. Test again in two days with first morning wee and see if it's darker.

Step away from the tilting. I say this with love, I've been there. Evaporation lines on cheap strips are the worst.

Mine at 9dpo was a squinter that I convinced myself was nothing, and she's now asleep on my lap aged four months. So, you know. Fingers crossed.

Update: did as I was told and waited. Saturday's test had a line you could see from across the room. And then I did a digital because I didn't believe it, and it says pregnant.

I'm shaking. Partner is making toast and pretending he's not crying.

Amazing!! Congratulations. Ring your GP or self-refer to your local maternity unit, a lot of London hospitals let you book in online now.
