Rainy half term in London with a 3 and 6 year old - ideas?

It's going to rain all week, isn't it. Both kids off. I can't do soft play every day without losing my mind. Budget is tight-ish, so free or cheap please. We're in Zone 3 south east but happy to get the train in.

What are your go-to rainy day things?

Natural History Museum but go late afternoon, the morning queue in half term is brutal. Horniman is great if you're SE, the aquarium is small but the kids love it and the gardens are nice when it stops raining.

Libraries! Our local one does free storytime and craft sessions in the holidays. And you can come home with a bag of new books, which buys you another quiet hour.

Science Museum's Wonderlab is paid but worth it for the 6 year old. The free basement Garden area used to be great for under 5s, check what's on as it changes.

Unpopular one but: bus rides. Top deck front seat, pick a random route to the end and back. Costs very little with kids under 11 going free. My son thinks it's the best day out ever.

Update: did the top deck bus to the end of the line on Tuesday (my 3 year old narrated every single bus stop), Horniman on Wednesday and a living room den on Thursday. Survived. Thanks all.
