Offered flu, whooping cough and RSV jabs at 28 weeks - did you have them all?

Midwife appointment yesterday and she ran through the vaccines I'm being offered this pregnancy. Flu now because of the season, whooping cough from around 16 weeks onwards, and the RSV one which wasn't a thing when I had my first.

I'm not anti anything, I'm just someone who likes to understand stuff before it goes in my arm, and the leaflet was a bit thin. Did people have them on the same day? Separate? Any rough side effects worth planning around? I'm on my feet all day in a shop so I'd rather not be wiped out on a Saturday.

I had flu and whooping cough on the same visit at my GP surgery. Sore arm for a day, bit of a heavy head, that was it. RSV I had a couple of weeks later. Do it on a day before your day off if you can, just in case.

Honestly the best person to ask the detailed questions is your midwife or the practice nurse - they were really patient with me when I asked about timing and why the RSV one is offered when it is. Make a list and ask them, they'd rather that than you put it off.

My first was born in December and caught everything going at 6 weeks old. Ended up at the Evelina for two nights with bronchiolitis. I had every jab going second time round, no hesitation. Not saying that to scare you, just that I've seen the other side.

Some pharmacies do the flu one for pregnant women too which can be quicker than getting a GP appointment. Mine did it in ten minutes on a lunch break.

Rang the practice nurse, she answered everything, booked flu and whooping cough for Thursday afternoon so I've got Friday to sit on the sofa if needed. RSV in a fortnight. Thanks BethanyJ especially, that put it in perspective.
